hive coffee company is located on the jarrow hall anglo-saxon farm, village and museum site. we are located within jarrow hall house, an 18th century grade II listed building. accessible by the main gate on church bank or from drewetts park. hive coffee company is open to all, whether visiting the museum & farm or just dropping down for a walk and a coffee afterwards!
by metro
jarrow hall is a 20 minute walk from both bede and jarrow metro stations (buses and taxis also run from jarrow metro station, only a 5 minute drive from jarrow hall).
by bus
the go northeast number 27 bus stops close to the cafe & museum and runs regularly. buses from jarrow metro station going in the direction of south shields stop near jarrow hall before they reach the tyne dock stop listed on the timetables. please check bus timetables for up to date schedules.
by car
We are located 2 minutes from the A19 Tyne Tunnel south entrance (a toll tunnel). we are pleased to offer ample parking for our visitors.
